The Commission of Veterans Affairs provides assistance to Lucas County veterans who were discharged under Honorable Conditions and/or their family members. Veterans need to have served 90 consecutive days of active Federal service.


Assistance Available

Help with the following needs is available, subject to eligibility guidelines:

  •  Rent or mortgage payments
  •  Utilities
  •  Food and provisions
  •  Transportation
  •  Burial assistance
  •  Grave markers
  • THRUST FUND
